I have worked as a freelance make-up artist for over 25 years on photo shoots, commercials, music videos and with celebrities.I was part of a team that worked on a photo story for Vanity Fair with the renowned photographer David Seidner in 1999 that won the Alfred Eisenstaedt Award for magazine photography. Other magazines that I have worked for are: Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, Family Circle, Brides, Ladies Home Journal, Interview, Elle, New York Times Magazine etc..

Other photographers that I have worked with include Steven Meisel, Herb Ritts, Richard Avedon, Denis Piel, Michael O'Neil, Ross Whitaker, Oberto Gili, Irving Penn etc..

Celebrities that I have worked with include Barbra Streisand, Goldie Hawn, Isabella Rossellini, Dustin Hoffman, Al Pacino, Caroline Rhea, Annette Benning etc..

I have also given many interviews and quotes to magazines for women and men concerning skin care as well as makeup tips. I have written articles for www.womensvoicesforchange.com and quoted on www.topbutton.com. I also created a private label line of cosmetic brushes for Bergdorf Goodman.

I am listed in Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.

Aside from being a make-up artist, I have steadfastly been singing and working on writing music and performing in clubs around New York City. I completed my first CD in 2002 and am currently working on recording new material and putting together songs for a second CD.

There is an acting bug that also bit a few years ago and I have done some off-off broadway plays and two short indie films. I plan to go with the flow of where it leads me.

I love writing and I am very happy to be part of the suite101 family!
